Candle Care Tips
-
Step 1:
Light! We've already trimmed the wick to the correct size to take the guess work out of it! And to ensure a proper burn on the first go around!
-
Step 2:
Burn candle for up to four hours to reach a full melt pool. The first burn may have a little wax on the side (but never alot, see pictures), thats okay as the wick burns down the sides will melt!
-
Step 3:
Once cooled, trim wick and continue to trim wick before every session!
Troubleshooting
My candle is tunneling!
Never fear! You should always burn your candle for at least 4 hours the first time but we get stuff happens. Wrap your candle in aluminum foil and make sure it comes over the top a little. Light the candle and wait! You should get a full melt pool after 4 hours.
My candle is emitting black smoke!
Make sure you trim the wick before every session to ensure carbon buildup from the last session is completly gone. If not this will cause the wick to burn improperly and can also cause a safety hazard.
