What are your candles made of?
Our candles are made with premium coconut wax, clean-burning cotton wicks, and housed in reusable glass jars, making them both luxurious and eco-friendly.
Do your candles contain any harmful ingredients?
Our candles are free from paraffin, phthalates, and other harmful chemicals, ensuring a safe experience for you and your space.
Are your candles vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, all of our candles are vegan and cruelty-free.
Are these candles suitable for people with allergies?
While our candles are made with clean ingredients, we recommend checking the scent descriptions for potential allergens.
Do you offer free samples?
We love our customers and do offer goodies in orders when it is feasible. Please do not expect each order to have a freebie.
Where are your products made?
All candles are made by hand in St.Louis, Missouri
Ordering and Payment
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can only be canceled or changed within 30 minutes of being placed. After this window, processing begins, and changes cannot be made.
Can I use a discount code after placing my order?
Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added retroactively.
Do you accept paypal?
Unfortunately, we no longer offer payment with Paypal. But we do accept all major credit /debit cards, plus Apple Pay.
Does my name have to match the card i use?
Yes! if you are ordering with a card with a different name your order will be canceled and flagged. This is to protect the customer from potential fraud and us from unnecessary chargebacks.

Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
Currently, we ship within the United States. We are exploring international shipping options for the future.
Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.
What if my package arrives damaged?
If your package arrives damaged, please email us at help@freethedaydream within 48 hours with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue.
Can I expedite shipping?
If you need expedited shipping it is available at checkout. If not chosen, all orders will be shipped using our $5 flat-rate UPS shipping option. This can not be changed after an order has been placed.
Returns & Exchanges
What items are eligible for return?
Returns are only accepted for unused candles in their original packaging and condition. We do not accept returns for burned or used products.
How long does it take to process a return?
Once we receive your returned item, we’ll process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note the processing for refunds is dependent upon your bank and once we have issued the refund on our end it could take 3 more business days to actually receive funds.
Do you offer exchanges?
We do not offer exchanges. If you are unsatisfied with a product, you may return it within 14 days and repurchase your preferred item.
Candle Care & Safety
How long do your candles burn?
Burn times vary. Please see the product details page for information on burn times.
Why is trimming the wick important?
Trimming the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn helps prevent soot, promotes an even burn, and extends the life of your candle. We are not liable for candle misuse.
Custom Orders & Gift Options
Can I request a custom playlist or book recommendation?
While we don’t offer personalized recommendations at this time, our curated playlists and book pairings are thoughtfully designed to enhance each candle’s vibe.
Do you offer gift packaging?
Our candles come gift ready in their own gift box! No extra work on your part!
Playlists & Book Recommendations
How do I access the playlists?
Each candle comes with a unique code to access its curated playlist on Apple Music and Spotify. Instructions are included with your order. Please save the playlists, they are only accessible through your order! And are updated quarterly!
Is the candle experience for all ages?
No. Each experience is intended for an audience 18 years or older. The playlists and book recommendations may have explicit language.
Do you include physical books with the candles?
No, our book recommendations are suggested titles for you to enjoy alongside your candle experience. you can buy them with the included links or listen free on Libby with a library card.
Sustainability & Ethical Practices
What happens to the glass jars after the candle is used?
Our glass jars are reusable and can be repurposed for storage, planters, or decorative accents. Simply clean out any remaining wax with warm, soapy water.
Do you use sustainable packaging?
Yes, we prioritize recyclable and eco-friendly materials for all packaging. Most of our packaging can be recycled. Labels and stickers are not recyclable.
